Video: Guy Calling Himself The Dana White Of Rap Music Explains Grammar (NSFW)

We've featured Mac Lethal here before. Only then he was calling himself the "Chael Sonnen" of rap music and making pancakes.

It looks like he's promtoted himself now and as comes with any promotion, there is significantly less time to dilly-dally in the kitchen.

So, like any good head of an organization would do Mr. Lethal decided to dedicate his time to a worthy cause and explain how a contraction works to America's youth.

And because he's the Dana White of rap music, he does it a little differently than how most company president's would do it.

Some people find him a refreshing change of pace from the stuffed shirts of the rap and some people wonder if his brashness is keeping rap music from hitting the mainstream.

Regardless, everyone admits he spits hot fire.

Going for it All: Josh Hamilton is the Guy to Sober Up Bond's HR Record

With all the talk of Josh Hamilton winning the Triple Crown I think there is a more important record that the fans might want him to break. One record the fans adore, one record the fans clamor for, one record that looks like * this. Winning the triple- crown would be amazing for any player, as it hasn't happened since Carl Yastrzemski did it in 1967, but how about chasing a record that has been tarnished by the steroid era?
In 2001 Barry Bonds* hit 73* homeruns, and took the San Francisco Giants fans out of the picture. There wasn't a fan in the country rooting for Bonds* to break the record. Why has Hamilton become an American hero? Yes, an American hero. Because he is like every regular Joe, (besides the $$$$ he makes for playing a game). He's had a drinking problem, has had problems that every day people have to deal with. Josh has had relapse, lack of judgment at times and has had to ask for forgiveness. Hamilton is as close to an everyday person as we will ever see in a major league uniform.
This is why I could care less if wins the triple crown. I'm rooting for him to break the single season homerun record*. Break the record every child dreams of breaking. I went through Hamilton's past week stats and Bonds* record-breaking season* season best one week performance. To make it fair I picked Bonds best Monday-Sunday performance to go along with the week Hamilton just had. To my delight Hamilton (who is on pace to destroy the record) has a far, far superior week then Bonds ever did. Nothing I enjoy more is seeing someone out play a guy who might have or might not have ever done steroids.

With all the talk of Hamilton going after the Triple Crown wouldn't it be nice for him to break the record of a guy most fans can't stand? Superman himself couldn't keep up with the pace Hamilton is on right now (90 Homeruns). Hamilton usually spends 15-20 games on the DL every season, we will take this in to account for projected his final season stats. For the months June-September he'll average 11 homeruns (Through April and a week in May he as 18). He will be nearing 66 homeruns, not quite the 74 needed to break Bonds* record but is he only going to hit 11 homeruns a month? Doubt it, Hamilton is in a contract year and wants to get paid!
There is nothing I want more then to quit putting an * mark every time I talk about Barry Bonds* record. Wouldn't it be nice to just say; now hitting #32 the Single Season homerun champion Josh Hamilton. Has a nice ring to it, and if it happens to go along with the Triple Crown then so be it, but give me the single season homerun record first.

Video: No Need for a Handshake when James Harden's Beard Gets Its Own Song

This video is a few days old, but what better way to commemorate the start of the Thunder/Lakers series than with a music battle between James Harden and Metta World Peace?

Tonight will be the first night that Harden and MWP will be on the same floor since MWP concussed Harden with a vicious elbow several weeks ago.

MWP has added fuel to the fire also by stating he has no plan to shake Harden's hand because he doesn't shake hands with substitutes.

So, while we wait for them to battle it out on the court... The only rational thing to do is put their musical stylings to battle.

You've seen the representatvies for James Harden and now it's time for some Metta World Peace:

I say Harden's already up 1-0.

Video: Wranglers Miller and Madill Talk Kelly Cup Playoffs

Tonight starts the finals for the Kelly Cup as the Las Vegas Wranglers take on the Florida Everblades (game one tonight at 7:05pm at the Orleans Arena). Talked with Wranglers Adam Miller and Mike Madill.

Video: Lighthearted Wranglers Ready to Take the Kelly Cup

The road to the Kelly Cup is full of pain, sacrifice, and the kind of pressure filled moments that make Lebron James hairline recede. But you'd never know that looking at the Las Vegas Wranglers.

Coach Ryan Mougenel and the team are just a regular bunch of jokesters heading into Game 1 of the Kelly Cup finals at the Orleans Arena on Monday.

Coach Mougenel took time to tell ESPN 1100's Dug Dugless that LW Peter MacArthur isn't even funny just moments after Dugless was terrified by a wayward slapshot.

The Wranglers advanced into the Kelly Cup finals by knocking out the Alaska Aces in 5 games of the Conference Finals, but Coach Mougenel knows that the Florida Everblades present a much different challenge.

"The one thing that is the common denominator is that they're an offensive team. They like a little bit of a track meet. So do we."

The idea of some high-octane offensive hockey doesn't seem to worry Mougenel one bit either.

In fact he seems as carefree as can be and even figured that if the series hits Game 7 between these two warm-weather cities, that they'll be playing on sand by then end of it.

"I like our chances on the sand."

Now that's confidence right there.

Boring is Better: Spurs Poised to Take 5th Championship

It comes as no surprise the Spurs swept the Jazz in the first round of the NBA playoffs. It comes as no surprise the Spurs won 50 games again; only once in the Greg Popovich era have his Spurs lost more games then they won, and that season was Pops first as the Spurs coach. It comes as no surprise Pop won the NBA Coach of the Year again (2003 winner), why wouldn't he? The man is an NBA genius. It comes at no surprise fans feel the Spurs are boring, unrelatable, and not feared by any other NBA team in the league.

Earlier in the week I had a friend tell me the Spurs reminded him of the Atlanta Braves teams of the 90's. I had to "remind" him the Spurs have WON four championships the past 16 seasons, not only made the playoffs in 15 straight seasons, but reached the conference finals six times, and again winning four NBA championships. Get them to the NBA finals and they don't lose, 4-0.

I've also heard the complaint that the Spurs have too many international players. Really? They have four, and two of the four are stars and I can guarantee 90% of teams in the league would love to have Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili on their team. Parker had an outstanding season finishing with 18ppg, and nearly 8 assist per game, compared to Chris Paul with was slightly better averaging 19/9 in the same categories.

Lastly I love to point this out about the 2012-2012 Spurs team; they finished second in the league in points per game scoring 103.7 points per game. That's higher then the Thunder, Heat, Lakers, Clippers, and yes everyone in the league besides the Nuggets. The Spurs are not the boring team everyone remembers them to be; the past three seasons they have become a high scoring team. In 2011 they averaged 103.7 (6th), 2010 101.4 (15) and like I mentioned earlier nearly 104 points per game this season.

It comes as no surprise the Spurs swept the Jazz in the first round of the playoffs, and it will come as no surprise if they beat whomever they play in the second round (more then likely the Clippers; Parker vs. Paul). Give the Spurs the respect they deserve as a past champion, and a team that can run up and down the floor with the best of them. The talk of the league would be a Heat/Laker or a Heat/Thunder matchup, but don't be surprised if we see LeBron vs. Duncan 2 with Tim winning his fifth championship and adding to his list of credentials as the greatest C/PF ever to play the game.

Mayweather Doing More Than Boxing

It's not often you get the opportunity to see a quadruple threat in person, but when Floyd Mayweather host an event that is exactly what happens. The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation put together pre-fight social affair which included sports, fashion, music and of course making the entire night one for charity. Reading the invite I really didn't know what to expect; fashion and sports mixed together? I've never thought of the adding those two together but then again Victoria Secret put on a fashion show shortly after the Super Bowl and it seemed to work.

The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation put on this event and they spared no expense. When big name companies like; MGM Grand, AT&T and Moet-Hennessy collaborate with Mayweather Promotions you get an idea of the impact the night would entail. The evening kicked off with Jinsu making his way to the stage to perform a few of singles. To be honest I had no idea who the kid was, but the crowd did and welcomed him. Getting a few drinks into everyone seemed to really get the crowd going as the party really got going when B. Wash came to the stage.

With the crowd amped up now it was time for Mayweather to take the stage. As he's walking onto the runway (remember it was a fashion show too) iPhones and blackberries flew out of people's pockets as phone flashes from all ends of the pool started going off. The moment was definitely worth it as Mayweather presented a check for $25, 000 to St. Jude's Children's Ranch. With a few mentions of other fighters in attendance, along with thanking sponsors the night was set. Nicole Craig, President of The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation set the mood of the night with kind words and reminding everyone to continue to support the FMJF and execute the mission of the foundation.

The final piece of the quadruple threat began with the fashion show as DJ Clue provided the beats for the runway. Again, I don't get out much but there is something to be said in seeing models walk out on to runway in scantily clad clothing. Maybe I was waiting for that one moment when a model slips and falls into the water and I'm recording on my phone and it becomes a YouTube hit. Sadly for me, that didn't happen but it was my first true fashion show so it was somewhat entertaining.

All in all it was a great cause all benefiting the St. Jude's Children's Ranch and I look forward to attending the next social affair. On the fight itself, Mayweather finishes the fight in the eighth round giving the people a good fight with plenty to talk about.

Great Moments in Gambling: Some Guy Won $41,000 on the Clippers Comeback

Have you ever been watching the Grizzlies blowing out the Clippers by 27 in the 3rd quarter of their 1st round playoff series and thought, "Man, I wish I could put some money down on the Clippers to win this."?

Me either. But one courageous bettor took a stand and did exactly that.

This brave man decided with about 8 minutes to go.... You know what, I'll just let his friend tell it:
"The Grizzles were up 27 at this point with about 8 minutes to play. You could bet that the Clippers would win the game, 100 dollars down to win $55,555. As a joke, my boy put down 25 dollars to win close to thirteen grand. After a 3 pointer immediately after that by the Clippers, he put another 50 on it, for another 27k. Well, before my very eyes, the Clippers fucking won. Off 75 dollars my friend made $40,000 in cash.

Un-fucking-believable. He's graduating next week so this is probably one of the greatest things that could have ever happened to him."

I'm pretty sure this is exactly what Jim Valvano meant when he said, "Never give up."

Who do you think enjoyed that epic comeback more?

The guy who realized that his $25 joke bet was about to turn into a 5 figure payout or Floyd Mayweather who went from possibly losing almost $2 million to banking $1.8 million.

Video: Bryce Harper Crashes a Softball Game at the Washington Monument

Unfortunately, video of his first hit at the game had to be taken down when an unruly fan was seen in the background showing his ass.

Nonetheless, it's still cool to see a kid enjoying his first day off in the majors by taking time to hang out with the common folk.

And they made him feel right at home, by heckling him just like it was his first at-bat.
