MMA women fight topless? Sarah McMann says Matt Brown should wear a Speedo
The inevitable battle of the sexes is unfolding in the UFC.
Matt Brown started the war of words by expressing how much he dislikes female fighting during his podcast.
“How many knockouts do you see in women’s fights? It’s not really my thing, I respect what they do, but look, they don’t have the body type or the power, all that s**t, for knockouts. If you’re not a good grappler in women’s MMA then you’re behind. It’s no different than the 125 [pound] division of men’s MMA in that they’re just really not built for knockouts.”
Brown added that for the pay-per-view dollar, the women should fight bare-breasted.
“I just think this, if I’m [going] to pay $60 for a Pay-Per-View to watch women fight they should at least be topless," said Brown.
During today's Las Vegas UFC 170 media scrum, McMann reacted to Brown.
"I want to make it absolutely clear ... I do not care if somebody wants to be a fan or not," exclaimed McMann to ESPN1100's Adam Hill. "Don't pay $60 then. Nobody's taking their top off."
Frankly McMann seemed a bit confused about the source, "I don't even know him. Why would I give a crap what he thinks about my fight? You know what, Matt Brown fight in a Speedo."
