The race is on for the starting quarterback position in Cleveland between Johnny Manziel and Brian Hoyer. After last nights game it doesn't look good for the Cleveland Browns. Both Hoyer and Manziel look pretty bad during snaps, and seem to need a lot more experience on the field. On the show today Mitch asked listeners if there was any other team in the league that may be worse off at the quarterback position. Do you think that Cleveland has more issues than they can fix before the season starts? Who would you start as quarterback against the Steelers?

On the show today we talked about the 49ers new Levi's Stadium and all the added amenities that have been put in place for football fans. With the new extras that have been added to the stadium, the prices of attending a game at Levi's Stadium have sky rocketed. General standing room admission is set to be $250 per person plus another $100 to park. On the show today we compared Levi's Stadium prices to Qualcomm in San Diego. Chargers stadium averages at $196 per person for premium seats while Levis is upwards of $600 per person for the same thing. Would you pay an extra $400 per person for WiFi and more spacious seating? Does the new restaurants and beer selection make the difference? We want to know what you think. Are major stadium upgrades worth the price increase, or has the new pricing made it impossible for most people to attend games now?

Also on the show today we talked about Washington Redskins RG3(Robert Griffin III). After last night's matchup against the Browns it is apparent that RG3 still does not know how to slide properly. The guys commented on how awkward he looks when he tries and it usually leaves him getting clobbered. The new Head Coach for the Redskins, Jay Gruden has tried to focus Griffin on staying in the pocket more often but on Monday night he scrambled four times for 24 yards and still failed to slide properly to avoid getting crushed. Griffin took home a bruised thigh from the Browns defense as a result and definitely still needs some work in the pocket. What do you think of RG3's performance on Monday night? Will the Redskins be a playoff contender in the NFC East?

The Las Vegas Mountain Ridge little league team is in the Little League World series for the first time ever. They are 2-0 and face Philadelphia and their star girl player Mo'ne Davis on Wednesday at 4:30 pm PT. On the show today we asked listeners what this would mean to Las Vegas if Mountain Ridge went all the way to take the championship. Seat and Mitch suggested that the city should hold a parade for the team to recognize their accomplishment. What do you think about the idea of a parade on Fremont?

Today on the show we talked to Kris Barr, who was investigated by MLB on suspicions of fixing games with childhood friend Jeff Locke of the Pirates MLB franchise. Kris told his side of the story and how he used Locke as a way to get his new sports handicapping business off the ground. Locke has been cleared by MLB and had no part in fixing bets with Barr. Barr explained how he was upset at Locke for blowing him off after reaching out later in life, and shortly after made the claims that Locke was in with him on fixing bets. You can hear Kris's side of the story here.

The guys from Gridlock were down in San Diego, California last week broadcasting live from Chargers 2014 Football Training Camp and the Tilted Kilt Pub in Mission Valley. Everyone had an amazing time and got to share some great interviews and experiences with the listeners of the show.

San Diego Chargers General Manager Tom Telesco sat down with Mitch Moss and Seat Williams at the Chargers training camp and discussed the process of rebuilding a playoff team with Head Coach Mike McCoy and how the Chargers balanced their offense. Mitch also asked Tom what it's like being one of the youngest GM's in the league and how he and his family like living in San Diego. You can listen to the interview with Tom here.

San Diego Chargers Head Coach Mike McCoy also sat down with Mitch Moss and Seat Williams live from training camp and explained how the Chargers succeeded last year's expectations, preparing for the new contact rules, and the mix of leaders amongst the rookies. You can here what the coach had to say here.

We got to see some sweet rides in the player's parking lot at the Chargers Training Camp. Mitch especially liked Ryan Mathews Porsche, that has a custom number 24 front emblem. On the show we asked listeners which car they would rather drive. Would you take the Porsche Panamera, the Bentley GT SS or the Ferrari California?

Video: Brawl At Raider/Cowboys Training Camp Shows Why Raiders Fans Are The Wors

America's Team vs The Bottom Dwelling Fans.

I kid, but seriously Raider fans come on. As you can see in the video below the Cowboys and Raiders get into a bit of a scuffle, which is buisness as usual during training camp. However, some chubby Raider fan feels the need to thrust himself into the action with some noodle-armed flailing that would be considered swatting at flies in normal circumstances.

Really?

Do you feel the need to protect the honor of the Raider Nation? Yet, another three win season is on the horizon my friend, I doubt there is much honor left.

Video: Rap showdown! Eli & Peyton > Swagger Wagon?

.

Toyota enters the rap game with the help of a zoftig Busta Rhymes and the xxxx family, but is it better than the NFL's dynamic duo? The Manning brothers are at it again.

Teaming up with DirectTV, the brothers are here to spit the truth about satellite company's newest fantasy football channel. It's not the best effort I've seen out of the Mannings, but Joe Namath rubbing his schnoz on Mom's face is pretty good (2:35 mark).

Taylor Bern and Chuck Ojeda, both said the Manning Bros. are past their primes and that last year's rap was better.

Tony Stewart is under a microscope this week after the death of driver Kevin Ward in Saturday night's race. Ward was struck by Stewart's car after he stepped on the track to apparently confront Tony for causing him to wreck. Ward was dragged under the car and tossed resulting in his death. An investigation is still underway to determine if Stewart is at all to blame in the incident. Tony has been known in the sport for being aggressive, and was said by many that watched to have swerved at Ward on purpose. On the show today Mitch talked about how he felt that after watching the video, Stewart was able to avoid Ward like every other driver that passed, but chose to send a message that unfortunately ended tragically.

Below is the video of the tragic crash that took place in New York on Saturday. We must caution that the footage is very graphic.

ESPN 1100/98.9FM was on the red carpet for the 2014 Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame induction at the Tropicana Hotel here in Las Vegas. Seat Williams Stays at Hostel in San Diego

Gridlock's Seat Williams was down in San Diego this week for Chargers training camp and got an unexpected surprise at his hotel. 500 West Hotel is located in the Gas Lamp District of downtown San Diego and is definitely one of a kind, but not in a good way.

500 west is more of a hostel than a hotel. With rooms resembling the look of what you might find in a college dorm or maybe even a carpeted jail cell, the website and explanation of the accommodations is very deceiving. Seat still made light of the situation and even took some photos of the crammed quarters he had to stay in this week.

The lobby of the hotel looks amazing and it is the only feature that they show on the website, which makes you think that the rest of the property looks the same or close to it.

The hallways of the hotel look pretty much like any other. New paint and new carpet make you feel like you actually got a great deal, as you wonder to yourself how come this is so cheap price wise.

When you finally open the door to your room, you realize that you have just been suckered. The rooms here are so small and crammed that you feel like a prisoner. If you are claustrophobic at all forget about it, you wont make through the night. This room is so bad it would be hard to even find a positive if the stay was free.

Its such a small room you can answer the door while still laying in bed.

The windows at 500 West do open all the way, incase you feel like jumping after being ripped off so bad.

Community showers don't help the experience what so ever. Better bring some flip flops on this adventure.

At the end of the day Seat still had a great time and was pumped to show us the pictures from this disastrous hotel. Gridlock is back at Chargers training camp next week, and we will definitely be staying some where else.

It appears that Kevin Love will be playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers next year according to Yahoo Sports. Minnesota has agreed to trade Love for this year's No. 1 pick Andrew Wiggins, last year's top pick Anthony Bennett and a protected 2015 first-round pick. The deal is not final until August 23, so we will have to wait and see, but it looks to be pretty much set in stone. With Cleveland acquiring Love and LeBron, are they now the No.1 contender in the Eastern Conference?

Pedro Gomez of ESPN joined us live on air today to talk about the Biogenesis Scandal in Major League baseball. Gomez spent a lot of time with Tony Bosch, the former director of the South Florida anti-aging clinic that became ground zero for baseball's biggest doping scandal. The guys asked Gomez today when we can expect some more names in the issue to be released. Gomez said that the investigators for the courts are more thorough than MLB's people and he thinks that more names will likely be mentioned. Pedro also commented that he absolutely will not vote for players in the Hall of Fame that used enhancements or were suspected of using them.

Also on the show Pregame.com's RJ Bell joined us live on air today talking NFL pre-season betting. RJ explained how it is safer to place bets according to the coach and their history in the pre-season, instead of by team due to the lack of knowledge on who will actually get playing time during the game. We also talked with Bell about TV shows that he says are must see television. Here are RJ's top Five shows:
  1. Dead Wood ( American western television series by HBO)
  2. NYPD Blue ( American television police drama set in New York City)
  3. The Wire (American crime drama television series by HBO set and produced in and around Baltimore, Maryland)
  4. Mad Men ( American television period drama series on AMC)
  5. Breaking Bad (American crime drama television series on AMC)
What are your favorite shows? Do you agree with RJ on his choices?

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen threw out the ceremonial pitch yesterday at the Dodgers vs. Angels game. She was a lot more fun to watch than most celebrities that step up to the mound. Chrissy took to Twitter before the game with tweets like "Crap I'm pretty drunk" and " My mom is bombed." Today on the show we saluted Chrissy for her efforts on the field and her fun attitude. The majority of us on the show felt that Chrissy could throw out every first pitch and nobody would ever complain.

Here is the video of Chrissy throwing the pitch in her customized Dodgers jersey that reads "Nugz 40," which stands for 40 chicken nuggets, her favorite drunk snack apparently.

Former Washington Redskins player Lavar Arrington joined us live on air today. Lavar gave us his opinion on the situation with Chicago Bears' TE Martellus Bennett being suspended for apparently slamming rookie CB Kyle Fuller. Arrington also spoke about Johnny Manziel and his chances to start for Cleveland, Redskins RGIII and Redskins' new hire Desean Jackson, who has recently been injured.

Also Bob May joined the show today to rehash the epic duel he had with Tiger Woods 14 years ago at the PGA Championship. Bob talked about Tiger's return to golf after his injury, which might have come to soon seeing that he is still having some pain in his back. Maybe Florida isn't where you go to die.

Check out Peggy Klemm. The 68-year-old grandma of 14 was caught doinking a 49-year-old in public and sentenced to six months in jail. So was her 40-something flame.

Today on Gridlock, Tim S. Grover of @attackathletics joined us on air to talk about his recent article in Sports Illustrated that pointed some blame at Las Vegas for the Paul George incident during the USA Basketball Showcase. Tim stated that Las Vegas has a night life and persona that is not healthy for young players and will always be a distraction, which can lead to more injuries. What do you think about Tim's opinion? Is Las Vegas a bad destination for big sports events? Or is Tim just looking for a story and blaming Las Vegas?

Bishop Gorman's Chase Jeter has announced his decision to play for Duke University. Jeter joined us last week on air live from Team USA Basketball practice and stated that he still had some schools to visit, but ultimately decided this week on Duke as his destination. Many UNLV fans had hoped that the 6-foot-11 power forward would stay here in his home town, especially because of his family's ties to the city and the university, but we all wish Chase the best of luck in what looks to be a promising career for the young star.

Also on the show today we talked about the mayhem that happened yesterday at the MGM Grand during a UFC press conference. Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier destroyed the stage and caused a huge scuffle after things got heated while posing for photos. The two fighters are set to square off at UFC 178, and after this incident the fight should be a great one.

Our Producer Clay Baker said it reminded him of Riddick Bowe throwing some chin shots at Larry Donald during a pre-fight press conference back in 1994. Check out Bowe getting crazy with Donald in the video below.

Today on the show we discussed the incident that happened with NBA super star Paul George at the Thomas & Mack here in Las Vegas. George suffered a serious leg injury in the Team USA exhibition game pon Friday night after colliding with the base underneath the basket. Media sources immediately started to point the blame at the Thomas & Mack stating that the placement of the stanchion was too close to the base-line causing the injury to Paul. The Thomas and Mack has hosted numerous basketball events at the stadium, including NBA Summer League every year, and has never had an injury of this nature. We asked listeners what they thought about the issue. Was this just a freak accident that could have happened anywhere?

Andy Dalton just signed a six-year contract extension with the Cincinnati Bengals for $96 million. On the show today we asked listeners if this was the smartest play for the Bengals. Dalton will be receiving $18 million this season which breaks down to over $1 million per game. Is Dalton worth this much as a starting quarterback? Would Cincinnati have faired better paying less to Dalton in order to recruit some more talent to the team?

Photo via:espncdn.com
On the show today we talked about the rising cost of attending live sports events and if the prices are for sure getting out of control. San Francisco's new Levi's Stadium is state of the art in every way, but food, beverage and parking prices will be set even higher than most stadiums. At $10.50 per domestic beer, fans will be paying over $60 a six-pack. This seems way to high and might deter some people from attending the games. We asked listeners what they thought about the cost of attending games and the recent increases. Do you think that the Stadiums need to be more reasonable with prices and accommodations? Or is this the only way to get better facilities to enjoy the games at?

Also on the show today Jay Kornegay, VP of Race and Sports at LVH Sportsbook in the Westgate Las Vegas joined us on air. We talked with Jay about the annual Super Contest for pro football, which is one of the biggest football contests in the world. Last years winner David Frohardt-Lane collected over $557,000 in earnings. You can find out all the details on the Super contest at thelvh.com.

Video: Rent-A-Cop Utterly Fails At Handing Out Justice

Security guards just get no respect man.

Take this short video for instance. I'm assuming skateboarding is not allowed on the premises, so a dude's got to do what a dude's got to do. Being the trustworthy security guard he is he shoos off all the offenders, but seems to be irritated by one of them, so he yanks him off of his board.

Are security guards allowed to do that?

Too bad the guy completely fails and lets all of them get away. At the end when our security friend watches the culprits scatter you can almost see his heart break.

Fight the power man.
